In 2010 I honestly think Dan Brisse feared lettuce and tomatoes on his daily burger more than anything on his snowboard. He was all gas and not even a hint of brakes that season, which was to me the peak of the street gap era. I'm not sure there's been a more technical gap, with the narrow landing suspended several flights. Overshoot and your dead. Undershoot and your dead. Drift too much right or left and your dead. That's a lot to think about coming into the jump completely blind to the landing. By the time you spot it, you're way past the point of no return. All pro riders will say they have 100% confidence in their abilities, but I don't if I've ever seen it more on display than this day.
