When the kicker session at the top of Arlberg Pass was cut short from weather, the crew gathered at the parking lot to regroup and see if there were shooting options down from the alpine. I think specifically we were waiting around for Andreas Wiig decided he was going to try to gap over the road in the opposite direction and far smaller-scale location than Peter Ström had done years earlier. While this was going on Jussi ventured over to this old lift cable to try and hitch a ride. Jussi didn't make it very far, and neither did Andreas, who not long after this photo, came up short on the road gap and tweaked his ankle. While my money was on the road gap for the photo of the day, this shot of Jussi was an unexpected consolation. I think it's safe to say 15 years later that even if Andreas had made the road gap, his photo would have been long forgotten, while this one of Jussi just gets better every year.
