During a trip to Minneapolis/St Paul during the infamous poler vortex of 2014 morale was at an all time low. Besides the comical cold temps, we had been on a bad roll of getting rolled out of spot after spot. This particular location was the breaking point for Nick Dirks. After getting the boot for the second consecutive day, he noticed that resident cop to the apartment building parked in the same spot every day. It just so happened to be a the bottom of a giant hill. There was a perfect opportunity for him to pay his respects to the selfless hard work the men in blue do day in and day out kicking fun seekers doing no harm out of spots. We went back during the cover of darkness and Nick built just enough of a lip. The next day we dropped him in the neighborhood at the top top the hill and drove down to the unsuspecting cruiser with cameras ready to go. The van stayed running, door opened up we signaled Nick, he dropped in, we ran into position, everything went according to plan and we all jumped in the open door of the van, Nick still strapped in, and sped away on the ice. As far as I know, any damage done to property is a cold case in St Louis Police Department.
