Photo time with Scott Stevens was rare and always cherished. Besides being the GOAT in turning the most mundane terrain into a shot (shout-out to the frozen parking lots across the U.S.) he also rips when the spots get spicy. This gap over a storm drain was a dream, and something I think maybe he had been saving for day he had a photographer to tag along, instead of his usual routine of video-only. Not only did I not expect a spot of this caliber, I didn't think I'd see him getting upside down over it. It was one of my favorite photos from the winter of 2013 and stands up a decade later.
